Following on from my previous post about Trident missile replacement, MP’s are to get the chance to vote on whether there is to be a replacement for the Trident missile system.
I am glad that Tony Blair took note of my previous post on the subject and has agreed to this vote – how condescending!
Now its up to you! You must write to your MP to find out how they intend to vote and why and if you don’t agree with them, then you must write again and get them to change their mind.
The best way to do this is to use the TheyWorkForYou or WriteToThem web sites, these are very easy to use web sites that will allow you first find out who your MP is, then help you to write directly to them via email; then write again and of course write again.
You must write to your MP as this will be a very important vote that we can influence, but only if you write to your MP. By the way, did I say you must wrote to your MP about this vote.
How do feel about this subject, should we replace Trident? Let me know by sending me a comment and we’ll see how many votes we get either way.
By the way, for the record, I don’t think we should replace it.
