It seems that whatever good you try and do in this country and it involves getting one over on the government, they will go out of their way to get back at you.
With Joanna Lumley’s magnificent victory for the Ghurkhas still fresh in our minds, it seems that the Government is to axe one of the Ghurkha battalions as part of its upcoming Armed Forces budget cuts!
Seems very strange to me as on the one hand we seem to be ready to send more troops to Afghanistan to back up the effort out there and here we are getting rid of some of the best fighting me in the world.
Another fine example of a government that has not got a clue about running the Armed Forces of this country.
Roll on the general election.
