It will be a long time before we can truly say what caused the main riots in London and other parts of England. I watched yesterdays debate in the House of Commons and was quite surprised by how many of the MP’s still seemed to not quite understand that they have created some of the causes.
Yes I am sure it has something to do with EMA being cut, yes I am sure that Social Deprivation has something to do with it, yes I am sure that lack of jobs has something to do with it.Why is it that politicians ways seem to think that the fault lies somewhere else.
It will be interesting to see what any enquiry picks up on and determines any root causes for the disturbances. Has the country moved on from the riots of 25 years ago, in some cases it would seem not.
